MELBOURNE (AFP) — An Australian motoring correspondent is facing reckless driving charges after being caught doing double the speed limit while testing a rare Ferrari, reports said on Wednesday.
Police said a 57-year-old Perth man was pulled over in rural Western Australia for travelling at 231 kilometres (144 miles) per hour, more than twice the 110km/h speed limit.
They refused to confirm the man's identity but media reports named him as Australian Financial Review motoring correspondent Rod Easdown.
